Minnesota continues to face housing challenges across the housing spectrum, from a shortage of homes and rising construction costs to rental affordability, workforce housing, homelessness, and the need for permanent supportive housing.
On September 2, tune in to Minnesota’s Housing Future: Candidate Conversations, a pair of separate back-to-back interviews with gubernatorial candidates Amy Klobuchar and Lisa Demuth focused exclusively on our state’s housing challenges and solutions.
The event is presented by Family Housing Fund, Greater Minnesota Housing Fund, and Housing First Minnesota, in partnership with KARE 11. Political reporter Danny Spewak will be conducting the interviews.
Sen. Klobuchar will be interviewed first at 2:30 p.m., followed by Speaker Demuth at 3 p.m. Both conversations will be streamed live on the KARE 11 website and KARE 11’s apps for mobile and TV.
