New 4-bedroom homeownership opportunities are coming to St. Cloud! Last week, the Dreamliner Estates team, led by Ryan Daniel, Emmanuel Oppong, and Eunice Adjei, broke ground on a 34-unit twin home development. The project will roll out in phases, with the first four homes expected to be complete by next summer.
The developers hope that the twin home project can help address the city’s housing needs, which call for 17,000 housing units by 2040.
To support this effort, GMHF provided a $50,000 predevelopment grant through our Emerging Developers Program, which helps the developers cover upfront costs like site analysis and architectural design.
Dreamliner Estates also received $3.4 million from Minnesota Housing to support 16 of the 34 twin homes planned within the Southern Ridge Planned Unit Development.
“Really, what we’re trying to do is help teams like (Dreamliner Estates) put homes like this in the ground, and be available for purchase,” said Minnesota Housing Commissioner Jennifer Ho.
