Support from GMHF and other funding partners prevented resident displacement and guaranteed that Bickham Court is preserved as deeply affordable housing for years to come.

Affordable Housing Finance featured the new 120-unit St. Louis Park development for low-income residents built with support from GMHF and the Minnesota Equity Fund.

The initiative will develop eight sites in north Minneapolis into a triplex and duplexes. GMHF provided a predevelopment grant and a construction loan to support the project.

Sahan Journal profiled this project that included financing from GMHF and $6.5 million in private equity from the Minnesota Equity Fund through the federal low-income housing tax credit program.

Allina Health is joining local and national movements to deepen their commitment to making new investments addressing social determinants of health, including affordable housing.

Many partners, including GMHF, came together to support this project which will bring much-needed deeply affordable family-sized housing to Saint Paul.

GMHF provided a deferred gap loan with 0% interest for 40 years as well as construction financing. The project also received 9% tax credits and significant contributions from the Rochester community.

This is GMHF's third conversion of an historic school to affordable housing and adds 57 units of workforce housing and 7 units reserved for formerly homeless individuals or families.
