Many rental property owners believe growing their portfolio will automatically make life easier. Bill Cullen’s 37-year journey proves it’s not that simple. From his early days flipping houses to becoming a reluctant landlord, navigating market downturns, rebuilding after the Great Recession, and ultimately operating a stabilized 380-unit portfolio, Bill has gone through nearly every phase of ownership. In this candid session, Bill explains what went right, what went wrong, and what he would do differently — with a focus on the real tradeoffs that come with growth.

This presentation is designed for rental property owners with small and mid-sized portfolios who want to grow thoughtfully, avoid common traps, and build a business that works in both good times and bad.

This is a Lunch & Learn session, with lunch provided by American Family Insurance – Fost Choles Agency, Archway Contracting, and Citizens State Bank.
