Exhibit Documents Housing Challenges in Greater Minnesota
The lack of affordable housing has a
profound but often hidden impact on Minnesotans. Through
the two iterations of "Portraits of Home," a
photography exhibit sponsored by Greater Minnesota Housing
Fund, a team of photographers has captured how families
in greater Minnesota struggle with poor housing conditions,
the lack of a home, and managing life with few resources.
The stories represented by these images remind all of us
that we must do more so that all Minnesotans have the opportunity
to thrive in safe, decent and affordable homes.

Housing Fund is making "Portraits
of Home II: Veterans in Search of Stable Housing in Greater Minnesota" available
to communities in Greater Minnesota. These powerful photographs
are aimed at touching the hearts and minds of policymakers, local
leaders, and residents to help inform stakeholders of specific
actions that they can take to alleviate the housing challenges
faced by a growing number of Minnesotans.
